Is this Ethel Verdun May?

Image
I posted here yesterday asking if anyone tell us the identity of the woman in this photo. Based on information provided by locals, we thought she might be either Nancy Capicchiano or Ethel Verdun May. Thanks to members of the Capicchiano family we now know that this is definitely not Nancy Capicchiano. But perhaps it is Ethel Verdun May? If you know anyone who might be able to help us to identify this woman, or any of the other unknown people in our local photos (you can see our online gallery here ), please share this post. Also, if you happen to have photos relating to the local history of Moonee Valley it would be great to hear from you. Julia

If you knew either Nancy or Ethel, and can confirm that this is (or isn't) either of them, or that it is somebody else, please let us know. You can use th...

Can you identify any of the people in this wedding photo? Moonee Valley Libraries has put together an album of photographs, all drawn from our collection of historical local history photographs, which over the years have been donated to the Library but with very limited accompanying information about the people, places or events depicted. The Library is seeking to gather information about these photos in order to enhance the photo collection and to broaden its understanding of Moonee Valley’s history. Please take a look at our online album , and share the link with anyone you know who just might know some of the people featured. If you can identify anyone or anything featured, please contact us at Moonee Valley Libraries. Julia
