Things to do Thursday: Join us online for National Family History Month

August is National Family History Month, and is the perfect time to get stuck into some research on your family history!

Curious about the history of your house? Our Things to do Thursday post last week hopefully gave you a starting point to begin researching the history of a building. For National Family History Month we continue on this theme, and will be running two online sessions on Tracing the History of you House. Our resident expert Meredith will guide you through the resources available to you to get you started on your own research, and answer any questions you may have.

Click here to register for our afternoon or evening session on August 5th.

The National Family History Month website has lots of events listed throughout the month of August, covering a wide range of areas of interest relating to family history. Many of these events are online, so whether you’re curious about getting started on your family tree, finding out about your convict ancestors, or navigating your way around the new look Trove, there’s sure to be an online event to get you started!
