Wiki for the Old Bailey Proceedings Online

In December 2008 the Old Bailey launched a community wiki for users of the Old Bailey Proceedings Online. They welcome contributions of relevance to the material they hold especially biographical information. This site indexes all cases heard at this famous London court from 1674 to 1913, for more details on this project visit Old Bailey Proceedings Online.

Australia's Army War Dead (1885-1972) Photographic Submission

As part of this ongoing project the Registry is collecting photographs of Army personnel to add to this Army index. Photographs may be of the soldier, their grave, headstone or other memorial. New Family History CD at the Sam Merrifield Library

Australia's Army War Dead (1885-1972 ) is now available in the Local History Room of the Sam Merrifield Library, Moonee Ponds. This CD is a collection of over 88,000 Army index records of service personnel, from all states and territories in Australia, who lost their lives during or as a result of operational service between 1885 and 1972, the operations covered are the Sudan War, the Boer War, World War 1, World War 11, the British Commonwealth Occupational Force (BCOF Japan), Korea, the Malayan Emergency, the Indonesian Confrontation and the Vietnam War. The index has been produced by the Victorian Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriage, in cooperation with the Australian Army's Central Army Records Office (CARO).
